Separate the physical MR POCKET equipment from the optional digital layer. Eligible equipment may be Powered by RQVN, but remains useful independently.
Most connected-product pitches begin with technology. The Powered by RQVN approach begins with a harder question: what information would actually help a person own, use, maintain, recover, and eventually transfer a piece of field equipment?
RQVN is not an MR POCKET product. It is the separate platform intended to power eligible digital identity and information experiences across compatible MR POCKET equipment.
What Powered by RQVN can make possible
An eligible MR POCKET product Powered by RQVN could open a secure mobile experience through a deliberate tap or scan. The first useful modules are intentionally practical:
- Product Passport: model identity, verified specifications, official manuals, setup instructions, compatibility, authenticity and product history.
- Gear Vault: optional registration, proof-of-purchase references, serial or RQVN identity, and ownership status.
- Service Record: maintenance guidance, replacement parts, service events and product changes.
- Lost Gear Return: a controlled contact path designed to help return equipment without exposing an owner's private contact information.
- Owner-Controlled Profile: optional information intentionally chosen by the owner and separated from private account data.
What it is not
RQVN is not being designed as passive GPS, a hidden location beacon, or a system for mapping where a customer prospects. Passive NFC does not continuously broadcast a trail. It responds at very short range when a compatible device is deliberately brought near it.
That distinction matters. Prospecting locations can be personal, competitive, culturally sensitive or legally restricted. Quietly collecting field location would violate the trust the platform is intended to create.
Privacy by architecture
For any MR POCKET implementation Powered by RQVN, MR POCKET intends to publish plain-language controls covering what is collected, why it is needed, what is public, what remains private, and how information can be deleted or transferred. The design direction remains simple: private by default, deliberate interaction, optional public information, protected return contact, and physical equipment that remains useful without the digital layer.
Status
RQVN remains a separate platform in development. Any MR POCKET integration must validate product identity, privacy architecture, activation standards, hardware durability, ownership transfer, security and support before customer activation.
Useful. Optional. Owner-controlled. Powered by RQVN means technology earns its place by serving the owner—not watching them.
